SAME

SAME cares for the elderly who face social vulnerability and/or abandonment, currently assisting 150 (800 total, to date) in Sergipe, Bahia and Alagoas. Initially created to serve the homeless, SAME expanded its activities and facilities to include a school with day care and classes for the children of assisted adults, educational and income-generating workshops, recreational opportunities, medical and dental offices, and a kitchen and cafeterias.
